To the clayworker ...

You are invited to be part of an exhibition / competition of pottery being held at the Maleny Artworks Gallery during October.

The theme for the show is Vessel … and I am leaving the interpretation of this theme totally open to the individual artists. The word has many meanings ….

There is a size limit - the base of the work to be no more than 250mm square and the height no more than 500mm. The works entered are to be at least 75% clay and to be of a durable and professional standard. Artists are invited to submit up to 3 entries.

The works will be judged by UK clayworker Jim Robison< www.jimrobison.co.uk >
( who will be visiting the Sunshine Coast at this time to participate in Spring Fever ) and a prize of $500.00 awarded to the winning artist.

Entry into the exhibition is by way of the entry form hereunder and there is a $10.00 entry fee per item. Entries close on 15 September and works to be delivered to the Gallery on or by Wednesday 30 September.

The exhibition will run at the Gallery from 01 October to 21 October with the opening party on Saturday 03 October.
